Questions in regards to reading and writing in the schools today

     *     What is happening with reading and writing in schools today?


     * Are parents seeing more or less reading and writing going on in the schools?

       * Is your school district focusing on the reading program and trying to find ways to improve it?




       * Does your school district have a literacy coach and does this literacy coach work alongside with the teachers?

* As a parent, do you spend a lot of quality time reading and writing with your children? If not, how or where would you take your child to expose them to reading and writing?
